With their latest release, Zodiac has gone back to their archive and revived the prototype that became the iconic Sea Wolf, a watch for adventure in or out of the water. Based on the original prototype, the new Super Sea Wolf 691 features a 36mm case now water resistant to 200m, an improvement over the originals, and also features a screw-down crown. The Ref. 691’s high-gloss black dial is complemented by applied markers with indices at odd numbers and numerals on the even numbers, recreating the original dial layout. A three-link stainless steel bracelet with vintage-inspired rivets finishes the look. Powering the Super Sea Wolf Ref. 691 is the new STP 1-21M caliber. This manually-wound Swiss movement features 18 jewels, hacking, hand winding, a frequency of 28,800 beats per hour, and a power reserve of at least 40 hours. Limited to 400 pieces.
