Description: This listing is for a custom designed plastic housing that allows you to convert your IPT-40 handheld plasma torch into a vertical machine torch for a CNC Plasma cutter setup. This is a DIY conversion. I assume no responsibility for the torch head, your machine, or your health if you decide to implement this design on your own. I have found that the new Yeswelder CUT55DS-pro is a super affordable ($150 in December 2023) unit for making a CNC plasma cutter. It uses the IPT-40 head, which is a blow-back start, non-high frequency start, similar to what Hypertherm has done for many years. Stay away from high-frequency start if you are building a CNC plasma table, because it causes electrical interference that can crash the computer running the CNC. This listing is only the plastic housing that modifies the head that comes with the Yeswelder CUT55DS-pro. If you have another torch head that is IPT-40, contact me prior to purchase so we can confirm a fit. There are two common variants of the upper head, and I need to know which one you have.
