The Perky Promise: I make these designs and products because I use them too. If you have any problems whatsoever with the product, just send me a message and we'll work something out! If you experience a failure, please send me a picture of the failure and I'll not only send you another one, but I'll revise my design so it never happens again. Happy riding! Directions: Gather up a philips head or JIS screwdriver, and a metric allen key set (we need an M4) Remove the two screws connecting the box on the righthand side of the "dashboard", which has the turn signal light, brights, etc. and set them aside (you will reuse them) Install the tachometer to the mount by placing the rubber washers onto the mount, then placing the tachometer on top of that. Then gently insert the 2 M4 bolts into the tachometer holes (remove the covers of the holes). Turn the M4 bolts with the allen key, until they begin threading into the nuts on the rear. You may need to press on the tachometer to get the bolts started. Turn the M4 bolts until they're just snug, using the "fast mode" of the allen wrench. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN. You WILL break the plastic mount if you over tighten the bolts. You just need it to be secure. Grab the screws you took off earlier. Lower the mount over the "dashboard" box, and install the bottom right screw most of the way. Then place your hand onto the left side of the box, and squeeze them together so that the screw holes align, and install the other screw. It will be tight, but it will fit. Tighten that screw until you feel the smallest bit of resistance, then do another quarter turn. Finish screwing down the right side with the same procedure. If you've already installed the wire of the tachometer, you're good to go! If not, then you'll want to lookup the instructions for the tachometer to give you an idea of what to do, but basically you wrap the red wire around the highest point of the spark plug wire that you can reach, and zip tie it in place.
