Description: Brand New custom made in the USA XBST Extremeblaster Short series internal resonated muffler fitting Yamaha FZ07, MT-07, 700, model years 2015-2022 (does not include aftermarket header in photo). Everything needed for complete installation is included. Stock exhaust headers must be removed and after market header installed with 2" outside diameter outlet. Included is also a bracket attachment from pipe to the stock exhaust chamber mount for added security. Incredible dual cylinder rumble (similar to Yamaha bolt 900). Please ask about my special 20% off introductory price offer for new customers to provide photos and feedback after installation Optional Internal baffle (needed unless fuel controller is installed) is removable for full open pipe operation and also contains a plug for added rumble and quieter operation that is easily removed for greater exhaust flow and less back pressure. The XBST Extremeblaster excels as a top end pipe baffled for good low end response and mid-range and has great classic tone. The XBST like other Extremeblaster designs has a 3) stage baffle system. The first stage fixed thin internal baffle in the base price unit delivers a loud rumbling tone ( fuel controller recommended) . The optional second stage adjustable baffle plug can be adjusted up and down the baffle, can be installed to quite down the pipe considerably and operates without the need of a fuel controller or power commander. The third stage plug in the baffle can be removed for added top end horsepower and still maintains enough back pressure not to warrant a fuel controller. Pipe is available in Chrome or all black powder coat finish at the same cost. This internal resonated pipe delivers a rumbling tone with less distortion that is not obnoxiously loud as a small open non resonated pipe (when used with arrester). The internal baffle helps to prevent lean out conditions at high rpm (snap, crackle, pop) by providing back pressure and needs no power commander or fuel controller or mapping. It has superior heat and corrosion resistance and has been tested to automotive specifications and meets or exceeds standards of performance for exhaust and muffler coatings. Heat resistance in excess of 1100 degrees and continuous testing for 48 hours at 800 degrees show this coating to hold its color, gloss and physical integrity at this service temperature. It should be noted this motorcycle exhaust should not exceed 500 degrees.This coating exceeds specifications for salt spray resistance testing. No blistering or rusting from scribe after 120 hours continuous testing. Passed a full battery of corrosion performance tests for automotive applications.
