Xena Warrior Princess,From King Con, Rafe's Heavy Leather & Metal Belt,Set Used

Description: The character, Rafe, was the male lead who wore this belt in season 3 of Xena Warrior Princes, episode King Con. In this episode, the leading actor - a handsome con-man, made a bet with his friend that he could get Xena to kiss him. Patrick Fabian is the actor that played the bad boy who turned out to be not so bad after-all. He actually won the bet and managed to manipulate a kiss from Xena, but of course Xena, who could never be conned, was on to him the whole time! The belt is made of heavy leather circles in 3 subtle colors of dark brown, dark wine, and forest green. I believe the belt buckle is resin but, I.m not sure what the buckle is made of. In the back center of the belt there is a darkened hammered copper metal piece that measures about 3&1/4 wide and 6&5/8 inches long and the metal wraps around the belting to secure it. The leather circles are put together with silver tone rivets and the copper piece in the back is connected with gold tone rivets. All the rivets are secure. The buckle closes with 3 heavy snaps. The label inside placed on top of the inside metal says "Rafe" "2nd Double". The doubles, stunt people and actors all had a hand in bringing this character to life. Perhaps someone out there in eBay land has the original costume and would like the belt to complete the costume or perhaps someone just wants a beautifully made costume piece as a souvenir from the show. The belt will come with the certificate of authenticity as seen in the photos. Shipping in the USA will be free and sent by Ground Advantage. It is so big on me, I couldn't wear it and it was made so well I did not want to take it apart to make it fit me - it is a big man's belt and not adjustable!
