Description: I ran across a stash of original WWII European-African-Middle Eastern campaign ribbons. These are in a box dated 6/28/45, just after VE Day (5/8/45). The war in the Pacific was still going full speed. This sale is for 1 original campaign ribbon fresh from the box. To avoid confusion, I am shipping each ribbon just as it came from the box. There is no pin or attachment device. That is the way they were packaged. The box is not included in the sale, but I have enclosed photographs of it for your viewing pleasure. Q'mster Depot" The European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal was first created on November 6, 1942 by Executive Order 9265 issued by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. The medal was intended to recognize those military service members who had performed military duty in the European Theater (which included North Africa and the Middle East) during the years of the Second World War (December 7, 1941 and March 2, 1946).
