Description: Original WWII US Womens Army Corps 'Ike' field jacket. Scarce French or Belgium made variant. OD wool construction with salmon-colored rayon lining. White manufacturer's tag sewn at the bottom of the jacket. Dated 1945. Note how the contract and spec number are marked as 'No du Contrat / No du Code' which would indicate either a French or Belgium-made jacket. Good condition with light wear. Some dark staining on the lining.
