Description: It is a replica liner and netting on an original shell that remained in Japan at that time in the 1970s. It was sold by Nakata Shoten, a famous Japanese military store. The shell is stamped on the inside of the back of the head with the Chinese character for small and the letter S in a diamond indicating that it was made by Kobe Steel. This is a small size shell with a small production quantity. There is a crack on the front right side, which is characteristic of Type 90 helmets; the material was hard, so dents are hard to form and cracks occur. There is no gap, and the material of the cracked area is displaced and attached. There are scratches on the surface. The paint is believed to be original to the period. Liner relatively new leather, reproduction. Kanji characters indicating the large size are punched in. The leather is stained and slightly hardened. The net and chinstrap are well made reproductions. I will ship from Japan by FedEx.
