Description: Very cool early wooden Hardware sign from Pine River, Minnesota. Hill Hardware Company (Our Own Hardware), at some point was founded perhaps early or late 1930's. This was placed in nearby areas around town or just outside for directional purposes. Primitive and rustic, great for your cabin or lodge decor Painted a light silver background with black lettering. The real photo postcards are NOT part of the this sale but for reference in timeline of the building and ownership. The store can be seen in the last photo next to a Rexall Drug store. The second to the last is a 1950 photo of Hill Hardware Co. on a window banner below a large sign up top...Our Own Hardware. Measures approx. 45.5 inches long by 5.5 inches tall.
