Originally published in 1948, Intruder in the Dust was made into a film (only the second film version of a Faulkner novel) in 1949, the same year in which Faulkner was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature. A central work of 20th century American literature! This copy is in very good condition overall, with two small nicks to the front cover (see photo), but with a tight spine and no other major signs of wear.
