Description: Wenger Swiss Army Chronograph - running great. Box Included. Here's a special old Wenger Swiss Army chrono that dates back to the mid-1990s. The original Swiss ETA 251.272 movement is in amazing condition (see photos). Gold and silver finish is in fantastic shape, considering the age. There's some very light scratches on the bracelet that I've tried to show in the photos. Some notes on this unique watch: - It's got a screw down crown and is supposedly water resistant, but I wouldn't wear it in the water. - Date window at 4 o'clock - I've just swapped out the battery and recalibrated the chronograph. Everything is running great - Red hand is the "second" counter for chrono functionality - Left subdial tallies the chronograph timer minutes - Right subdial counts 1/10th of seconds. The hand doesn't move until you stop the chrono, then it pops to the correct digit. I think this is unique to these ETA movements. It's odd, but it's how it's supposed to work. :-) - Bottom sub-dial is the second hand for the time - White Tachymetre dial ring looks great with this dial, and neither shows sign of fading. See pics - I didn't see any scratches on the crystal - Couple of small scratches on case back. See photos - One link removed from bracelet, and is included with purchase - I measured case at approx 40mm-41mm - Original box included Tips for the Swiss ETA 251.272 movement - The battery will drain within a few days if you keep the chrono running. Make sure you stop it when it's not in use. - I've just reset all of the chrono hands to zero... They all got misaligned when the last battery ran out. If this happens again, it is an incredibly easy fix and requires no tools, and you don't need to open the case back.
