An additional 2 oz container of duckweed will be included. The water lettuce packaged can be any size. It is likely to grow bigger & multiply in accordance with the health of your pond. The water lettuce will die off once temperatures get to cool while the duckweed is likely to go dormant and reappear and populate once the waters get warmer. They create a lovely green, sometimes magical coverage on the top of your pond that counteracts algae blooms and shields your fish from predators while provides nutrition to your fish and pond life. ** These plants are considered an invasive plant due to their rapid growth. They are illegal in certain states.
