Description: WALKER TITAN SF 4X5 FIELD VIEW CAMERA... LIKE-NEW NEVER USED. I purchased this for my personal use... and never used it. Life got in the way. Now I'm downsizing and selling a lot of large format equipment. It has been stored, since purchase, in an environmentally controlled non-smoking household. Check out my other listings and previously sold items - this is just one of many UNUSED items that I am selling. SER.#: 0077 PLEASE READ EVERYTHING POSTED BELOW. "The Walker Titan SF 4x5 Field camera is the world’s first large format mould injected plastic camera; it is a combination of traditional field camera design with modern materials and manufacturing techniques. The body is made from injection moulded ABS, finished with a very durable non-slip coating. All fittings are made from stainless steel. This combination of materials makes the camera exceptionally durable and able to withstand extreme natural elements. There are a full range of movements on both front and rear of the camera. The front has rise and fall, tilt and swing are both on axis. The rear has base tilt, axis swing, plus shift. The bellows are interchangeable. The International/Graflok back will accommodate all standard cut-film holders plus a number of roll film holders. The focussing screen is a one piece acrylic screen with etched surface on one side and Fresnel on the other, with a separate cover glass which has a grid pattern plus markings for roll film." THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER NEW ONE MADE... EVER! Regrettably, Mike Walker will never make another one of these ever again."05.12.15 - The Walker Titan SF 4x5 is now completely sold out. No further SF’s will be made. In December 2013 Walker Cameras announced the last 10 SF’s available to order. The decision to cease production of this innovative camera was due to the loss of the mould injection tools, which were destroyed by the mould injection company charged with the storage of these irreplaceable tools. It was with great sadness that Walker Cameras confirmed the production of the final SF’s." In its current form it is usable with lenses from 65mm to 450mm - the 450mmm, if it is not a telephoto, will be limited to shooting at infinity. For normal shooting a 360mm, or at most a 420mm will give more flexibility. With a recessed lens board, bag bellows. and a lens board extension (like the WISTA that I am also selling) it would be useable from 47mm to >500mm. Care must be taken if you are expecting to use a telephoto due to the small Technika lens board and bellows throat. Some telephotos have very wide rear cells and may not work. This is a FIELD camera - it is NOT a MONORAIL. It does not have the range of movements of a monorail/studio camera!Since I never used it, I am not an authority on its capabilities.DO NOT buy this camera without researching it and reading reviews!Go on YouTube and watch some videos.Go to the Walker Camera website. If you buy this camera, do not even attempt to open it and set it up without watching videos on how to do it properly! It's a great design, and very well made... but it has quirks, it was made in the U.K. after all.If you try to use this without researching it, you will find yourself twisting knobs the wrong way and maybe losing them.Learn all you can BEFORE buying this - MAKE SURE IT WILL DO WHAT YOU WANT IT TO! It is in UNUSED condition. I WILL NOT accept a return on this if it has been attached to a tripod or had a lens board or film holder inserted. Fully inspect the camera upon receipt BEFORE attempting to use it! There are no marks on this camera other than some very light staining on the stainless-steel fittings from the pressure washers. Those marks should polish right off.UPDATE: I DID FIND MINOR DAMAGE TO THE CAMERA. THERE IS A MECHANICAL INTERFERENCE BETWEEN A CAP NUT AND SUPPORT MEMBER THAT CAUSED PAINT TO CHIP. IT IS SHOWN IN THE LAST PHOTO IN THE SEQUENCE WITHIN THE BLUE CIRCLE. This camera hasn't been produced in 10 years. This camera has been packed-away in a climate-controlled house in a smoke-free environment for the past 15+ years. It hasn't bounced around in a car trunk in 120-degree Arizona summers, been used in a dusty desert or in Florida humidity. Since purchase it has not been out of my possession, or out of my house.LOOK AT THE PHOTOS!ALL photos are of the camera that I am selling - I AM NOT POSTING STOCK PHOTOS!If you want to see photos better depicting the range of movements with this camera there are plenty online. The photos that are up were taken in a hurry - they are not the best. Any "blurring" or "fuzziness" that you may see is just my old P&S acting up - it sometimes has issues with my lighting. READ:1. It is being sold "AS IS" just as I received it from the factory - it has no modifications.2. It comes with the ORIGINAL normal bellows. The bellows is in great shape - I see no indications of deterioration whatsoever.3. It comes with the factory back and focusing screen.4. It comes with the factory-supplied screen protector.NOTHING ELSE IS INCLUDED!U.S. SALES ONLY!WILL BE SHIPPED USPS SIGNATURE REQUIRED!NO P.O.
