Description: This is a very rare Paragon design and the closest match I could find is a similar flower design that completely covers all surfaces except the outer/under white porcelain - and is selling for well-over double my price. This cup and saucer set was made in England, and each piece has a double Paragon warrant mark on the back, indicating it was produced in the 1950's. The tea cup diameter is 10.3 cm. (4 in.) and the height is 5.7 cm. (2-1/4 in.). Overall the total cup width including handle is 12.7 cm. (5 in.) and the total height to top of handle is 6 cm. (2-3/8 in.). The saucer measures 14.2 cm. (6-5/8 in.) at the widest - it varies because of the scalloped edge - and is 2.3 cm. (7/8 in.) high. There are no chips, cracks, crazing, or scratches, the colors are vibrant and have not faded. A small amount of paint has splattered on the cup's gold base, and there is a tiny amount of gold loss (found using a magnifying glass) plus some worn off the cup's handle - as shown in the final 5 photos. I have tried to accurately show every surface of each piece, to present the exact condition including blemishes, so please look at all photos which are from different angles, sides, and lighting conditions.
