Description: The item is sold as is, as found, and as you see it. The sale is for a pair of unusual stylized, handmade in design king and queen maybe candleholders or for storage. They are both in good condition with no chips or and have age related issues. The left is the king in a cylindrical form with a stamped design in the crown interior/exterior with cutout holes at top. Protruded eyes, nose and going into the eyebrows, mouth, in the face. The hair is a green and rust color muted in in vertical incised line design. Being handmade, some things can be mis shaped as you can see the cylindrical form from underside and not a perfect circle. The cavity, you can see a firecrack vertical line: made that way. White pottery under glaze in cavity. The right side, the queen: protrusional nose, somewhat in the eyes. The face is mainly incised. The crown top is blue glazed beaded balls and cutouts design. The hair, vertical wavy repeated lines. A longer vertical fire crack from inside going through to outside: made that way. The king has a fire crack on right eye or eyebrow. Texture on her hair and face like the king's face texture. Both have many glaze and pottery flaws that are made that way as they are handmade. The inside top of crowns could be for a votive candle or for small objects like bobby pins, coins, not sure. Unmarked. Dirt in crevices. The queen is slightly larger than king.
