Description: Vintage, Beautiful collectible “Sachet Booklet” mini book / greeting card with cameo in original package. “Happy Today” This special series, Hallmark Miniature Gallery by Hallmark Cards, featured cameos, special little booklets, mini plaques and sachet keepsakes. This cameo and the special booklet was designed and illustrated by artist Valerie Damon, and the story was written by Edward Cunningham, for Hallmark. It is a happy cheerful story - a terrific “pick me up”. The booklet is inside a pillowed ecru satin cover, held by a gold elastic ribbon. Set within the front satin cover is a cameo, with super sweet bluebird and flower artwork. The cameo is plastic and set on a gold tone base. I am unsure how the cameo is fastened to the cover. I do not see a pin. The booklet is a 8 pages of folded parchment style paper. The story is lovely and the illustrations are beautiful! This was designed to be a lovely, fancy variation of a greeting card. The maker mark, artist and author detail is printed on the back page of the little booklet. The approximate publication date for this edition is 1975 Made in USA. Excellent unused, condition - there are very minor scuffs on package itself, from being stacked in my dresser drawer for decades. See photos to assess style, details, side, condition, etc.
