Description: Back in the 1980s Princess Marcella Borghese produced a perfume fragrance called Giardini di Montecatini. This perfume has since been discontinued and is hard to find and expensive. I am surmising that the gold tone necklace featured here was a promotional item perhaps given as a gift with the perfume. I could not find another, so I am winging this info. The gold tone necklace with silver trim on the front is 16 1/2" long and features a pendant housing a 1" in diameter domed coin like likeness of a lady (perhaps the Princess).. It closes with a hook and eye closure at one side of the pendant in front. Interesting piece and a nice collectible for anyone who loves this perfume. The necklace is in excellent pre owned condition.
