HERE WE HAVE: A vintage Wurlitzer Melodie trumpet! Serial number is P54862. The trumpet is silver tone and non-magnetic.. not sure what the material is. I couldn't find too much info about this brand and model, but I believe it was made at some point in the 1920s or 1930s. It looks like Wurlitzer had a few other brands that also made instruments in their name. With the P serial number, this one MAY have been made by Pan American? I'm not certain! *Another eBay member let me know the stencil on the piece signifies it is indeed Pan American made, circa 1926.* Comes with an H.N. White Equa-Tru mouthpiece and a hard carrying case.*9/6/23* CONDITION: Being sold as is, for parts or repair! I'm far from an expert so it's untested and I'm going to guess it needs work to be in good, usable condition.There appears to be a repair near the 3rd valve. There's no finger hook on it. Looks like there may be something broken off between the piping and the bell as well?The metal has some dings/dents. There are surface scratches and varnish loss all around. The valves press and raise smoothly, although they do "rest" at slightly different height. I didn't deep clean the trumpet, just wiped off the excess dust so I don't damage anything further. The mouthpiece has lots of little dings and gashes.The case has a lot of staining (the inside looks completely discolored), scuffs, and scratches throughout. The vinyl coating on the outside is lifting up/torn in spots. The handle has tape on it. Everything will come as shown, so please see photos! SHIPPING: Calculated.
