VTG Alpaca Mexico Southwest Silver Money Clip Aztec Crushed Turquoise Inlay

Description: For your consideration is this vintage metal money clip made by Alpaca. It is believed to have been made somewhere during the 1940’s to 1960’s in either South America (Mexico or Peru), or the Southwest USA.The clip itself is made of metal. Although not marked as such, I believe it is sterling silver given its texture and appearance. The back features a cutout clip that is stamped “Alpaca Mexico.” The front features a geometric pattern that appears to be of Aztec design, and it is filled in with a nice crushed blue turquoise inlay. The main body of the clip measures 2” long, and the clip measures 1 5/8” long. Overall width is 1 1/2”. It is in overall good condition with some surface wear.
