Vtg 1970s Cottage Core Dress Maxi Prairie White Pink Purple Floral 27" W, 37" B

Description: This is a handmade prairie dress from the 1970s in a maxi length. Authentically vintage. The fabric is white with a light pink floral pattern and larger purple flowers with green leaves. It has a high neck that has two metal hooks at the top in the back. It has a ruffle on the bodice, at the top of the high neck, and at the bottom of the dress. The long "leg of mutton" sleeves have 6 lavender buttons at the end of each with fabric loop fasteners. It has a nylon zipper in the back with a metal slide. This is a great country, cottage core or prairie dress. It would look really great on a straighter frame. Brand: This is a homemade dress and there is no brand. Country Where Manufactured: unknown, but likely the U.S.A Size: Medium Juniors size or Small women's size. The equivalent to a 5 or 7 Junior's size or a 4-6 women's size. Material: I am not sure, but it feels like a cotton blend. It could be 100% cotton. Measurements (laying flat): Armpit to armpit: 18.5" (for up to a 37" chest) Waist: 13.5" (for up to a 27" waist) Hip: 19" (for up to 38" hips) Arm openings at shoulder: 8" Arm length from armpit to end of sleeve: 18" Neck: 6.5" (for up to a 13" neck)Wrist: 2-5/8" (for up to a 5.25" wrist) Length from shoulder to bottom of dress: 52" Condition: This is a pre-owned, handmade dress in excellent condition. Recently washed. I thoroughly inspected this dress and do not see any stains or holes in the fabric or any holes in the seams. The zipper in the back is a bit wavy when on the hanger, but will straighten some when worn.
