Description: For sale is a vintage Witherby bevel edge socket socket chisel, weighing 4.5 oz., measuring 3/8" wide X 8-3/16" long, with a 3-5/16" sound, and solid, but worn leather cap wooden handle. Signed "T.H. Witherby" within a diamond, it is in very good overall condition, showing use and wear, with some gouging on the socket, with a good edge, which will respond well to honing and sharpening by a experienced hand. The leather cap wood handle is sound and solid, but worn at the top, as pictured. Any honing, sharpening, cleaning and detailing is left up to you.
