Description: This may have been a souvenir from someone’s visit to a tropical island. This necklace is a combination of cowrie shells and small whelk shells threaded on a plastic filament. It measures nearly 36” long. The shells have been bleached and polished so there is no organic matter in them. Great to repurpose or for cosplay. Remember that when buying vintage items, you may expect to find some signs of wear, dirt, or slight damage to pieces unless they are stated as being in new or mint condition.
