Description: Cardboard box advertising Pepsodent Dental Cream (toothpaste) made by the Pepsodent Co, division of Lever Brothers. Inside the box is the original tube of Pepsodent dental cream, the product containing Irium-a made up name that was supposed to have extra cleaning power. Undated, but since the box and tube design are so basic and Lever purchased Pepsodent in 1943, my guess is that this is from the mid 1940's.Item originally sold in the stores for 10 cents and the tube only contains 5/8 ounce of toothpaste. Box measures 4" x 1" x 3/4" and the tube fits in the box. Box is in perfect new condition and the tube has some paint loss top and bottom. Only one like it on ebay.
