He was a British Military Officer during World War II and later a Diplomat. This mask has been displayed in my fishing cottage for many years. It displays beautifully. It measures 12 inches long by 6 inches wide. This Vintage Wooden Ancestor Mask from the SEPIK Ramu tribe of Papua New Guinea is a stunning piece of history. The beautiful brown color and intricate woodwork make it a unique addition to any collection. The mask is a representation of the Pacific Islands & Oceania culture and is believed to have been crafted in 1920. The material of the mask is made out of wood and it has been expertly crafted with attention to detail. It is a wonderful example of the artistry and craftsmanship of the SEPIK Ramu tribe.
