Vintage Venetian Sommerso Fancy Glass Beads Beaded Triple Strand Necklace

Description: Here is a Vintage Venetian Sommerso Fancy Beads Triple Strand beaded necklace featuring a triple these bright cream beads with oodles of avventurina seemingly swimming around the inside of the beads. Sommerso is Italian for "sunken." You can see lots sparkly avventurina swimming around the centers sunken into clear glass. Necklace is 16" long (with extender) making this a choker type necklace. There are three strands measuring 12, 13, and 14 inches as best as I can be measure them. I think with the extender one would have a 16" long necklace. There are 83 Venetian sommerso beads which measure 6 mm. Each bead has a pair of brass filigree bead caps. Each bead is separated by a 1mm seed bead. The ends of the stringing material have a French coil finish so I cannot tell what these beads are strung on. It all feels tight. The age appropriate brass hook and eye clasp completes the piece. I see no issues with the glass beads. There is some verdigris on some of the bead caps. Since these glass beads are made by hand there will be variations in style, size, and decor.
