Description: “IN WITH THE NEW AND OUT WITH THE OLD” Ferry Field was the home of the University of Michigan’s football team from i believe it opened in 1905 until 1927 when they started playing in the newly built Michigan Stadium. The aerial view picture on the front of the Michigan stadium card was from the Michigan stadium dedication game on 10-22-27 against Ohio State, which was won by Michigan 21-0.
