Description: The Damask CheekFlora RobsonCeleste HolmZachary ScottVintage Theatre Postcard Up for auction is a vintage, standard size, advertising postcard, measuring approximately 3.5 by 5.5 inches in size, and promoting John Van Druten's "The Damask Cheek", featuring Flora Robson, Celeste Holm and Zachary Scott, and playing at the Playhouse Theatre, in New York City, from 1942 to 1943. However, this postcard was for a special performance sponsored by the American Theatre Wing, and held at Fort George G. Meade, in Maryland, specifically for active duty armed forces members, on Sunday, December 6, 1942. The postcard is unused, and is in excellent, near mint, vintage condition, with both front and back surfaces clean and the colors bright.
