Description: This vintage Swiss Reuge singing two bird cage in a gold gilded cage music box is a must-have for collectors of decorative music boxes. Just super with all the heavy cast brass on the bird cage. A truly rare Reuge bird cage music box. The one bird inside the cage moves and chirps along to the tune played by the music box. The other tries to move and chirp although it will need some adjustment. It moves very slightly on the chirping tune. On close inspection the red bird is missing one eye. I took the bottom plate off to try to make adjustments to the red bird allthough that is as far as I got with it. To see this birdcage singing search ebay singing bird on google videos. I put a video on you tube. It should come up as third video. I could not figure out how to get the movement out. This is a unique and charming piece for any home or office decor. The red bird does not move although the Beek moves more now and I think it could use more adjustments. One of the pads on theoutside feet is missing as shown in the picture. I don't see any other issues other then being dusty. The on off intermitted switch all work fine. I would think the cage could use a good cleaning and oiling. The cage is about 11" tall and the base is about 6 1/2" wide. It is a super rare Reuge bird cage fresh from a Florida estate. I ship U.S. lower forty eight and buyer pays $25. shipping.
