Vintage Spica TC-50 Speakers - Pair - 4 Ohm - 50 W Continuous/100 W Peak

Description: Up for sale is this gorgeous pair of Spica Model TC-50 Speakers in great condition. Proudly made here in the USA. 100% original untouched drivers and cabinets. Consecutive serial numbers on the pair (7058A and 7058B). Tested and working perfectly. Cosmetically these speakers are in great shape given their age. There are a few imperfections on both of them detailed as follows: 1) One speaker has rear left corner chipped and some chipping along the same edge towards the middle, on same side there are two small indentations. 2) Other speaker has right rear and right front corners chipped and same side exactly in the middle of the edge, several very small indentations that are there but not very visible unless you look for them. Left front bottom corner vinyl is beginning to lift but not visible unless you actually lift it from the edge; lastly left rear corner vinyl is worn out and can be clearly seen only from the bottom. 3) Both speaker grilles are in near mint condition if it wasn't for a small hole in one of them in the lower right corner caused by a splinter from the very frame of the wood (manufacturing defect) and the other grille has a kind of tear along the middle left of the cover. 4) Bottom of the enclosures are in very good shape considering they have no felt pads.I don't think I missed anything else but please look carefully at all the pictures for an exact description. 5) Original labels in the rear of the cabinets were practically hanging by a thread so they were taken off to flatten them and reinstall them as best as possible. Very last picture shows them already in place. Cabinets have been cleaned using Murphy cleaning spray and given one coat of Old English Oil and hand buffed. From a few feet away they look brand new. Woofers themselves have been coated with Sonax Rubber Protectant to clean and maintain the rubber surround. Tested and working perfectly. These units put out extremely detailed and clean sound with great imaging that will satisfy any audiophile as well as casual listeners. Take into consideration these speakers are originally designed to be set on stands to get the full spectrum of 3D sound (time aligned design of the crossovers) that they are originally designed for.
