Vintage Sheaffer 14K Lifetime Nib White Dot Fountain Pen Oversize Flat-Top

Description: PLEASE NOTE: This pen is personalized "MAX D. KELINSON" Used Sheaffer oversize fountain pen with a lifetime nib and a flat-top. Based on the characteristics of this pen, I believe it is from the late 1920s. The nib has a 5-line imprint which was introduced in 1926, and it appears Sheaffer discontinued the flat top version in 1928. The pen is in typical used condition with obvious signs of wear. There are medium scratches or bite marks at the base of the pen. The barrel and cap are both intact and there are no visible cracks. The pocket clip is firmly attached. There is brassing visible on the gold band and pocket clip. As stated above, the pen is also personalized. However, this pen is nearly 100 years old, making it a rarity.
