Description: Vintage Reuge Music Box Andrew Lloyd Webber "Music of the Night" Phantom of the Opera "Music of the Night" is a famous song, which was sung by Michael Crawford, The Phantom of the Opera. * This lovely Reuge Music Box was handcrafted in Sainte-Croix, Switzerland. * It is numbered 6309 on the inside label. * The wood is impeccable pristine and smooth to the touch. It is likely a Burl Elm with a classic wood inlay. So beautiful!* The edges appear to be a Rosewood.* Hardware is brass.* Measures approximately 4.50 x 4.75 x 2.25 inches.* 18 note Music* Musical movement can be seen when the lid is open. * Winding is solid, and the sound is good.* In cleaning the glass that houses the music box movement, there are a few faint spots that didn't come off of the glass surface. It seems to be on the underside of the glass, and will probably require removal through the bottom screws. It isn't that noticeable except when held a certain way in the light.
