Vintage Poljot 3133 Shturmanskie Chronograph Soviet USSR Mechanical Watch (1980)

Description: Vintage Soviet watch Poljot 3133 Shturmanskie (Chronograph) with a black rotating bezel. It is fully original watch with correct arrows, pushers, and original dial. This a special series anniversary chronographs, which are not so common compared to the basic civilian series, and have differences in the design of the dial, hands and case back. Approximately produced in the second half of the 80s, possibly the beginning of the 90s.The calendar switches normally, the arrows are translating, ballance is working condition, reqires replacement of stop-start lever, and replacing the second wheel, also the hand is not complete. Watch was not serviced for a long time so requires inspection of the watchmaker. The brass case has traces of time and minor loss of chrome plating on the edges, near buttons and winding crown, that can be clearly seen on photos. The pushers are in very nice condition, winding crowns (both) have small loss of chrome plating. Crystal is clean with no crackles. Lume has never been changed, glows good. Dial looks very nice, and has minor traces of time. Hour and minute arrows in a good condition. Caseback has scratches that can be seen on photos. Basel is clean and rotates freely. Comes with a nice white strap, looks NOS (from timekeeping) 18mm lug and stainless steel buckle. In 1976 the 1MChZ factory began production of a new stopwatch: the chronograph model 3133. For this development, the team of designers of the 1st MChZ was awarded the State Prize.Initially, the watch was intended for the officers of the Navy and was called "OKEAH". Later, a modification for the Air Force flight personnel was produced under the name "Shturmanskie". The commander of the USSR Navy Gorshkov had the same watch, as well as such a watch was worn by the captain of the 1st rank Sharapov in the Northern Fleet at the headquarters of the Belomorsk Naval Base (Belomorsk Naval Base)The watches were included in the set of navigational equipment of the ships from 1976 to 1983, the watches went directly to the units for the officers. The item condition rating is based on the external condition relative to the worst to perfect storage condition, and points are awarded relative to the difference between these two extreme conditions (visual look).
