Description: Wonderful vintage painted folk art box with sliding lid. This is an older piece but not an antique. It has been in my collection for about 20 years. It is hand-painted with a traditional folk art house and cats on the top, and an American flag on the front, along with initials and a date that reflect when these boxes might have originally been made. It has rope handles on each end. The sliding lid works well. The box is on overall very good condition with only a few small chips or paint rubs. It displays beautifully.
