Description: Up for your consideration is a quad (4) of vintage NOS Triad A-65J output transformers. I bought these close to 35-40 years ago from an electronics store that was going out of business at the time. My plan then was to use them for a few pairs of tube preamps that never ultimately materialized. A couple of house moves later and I found them again, I forget that I had them honestly... Unfortunately, at this point in my life I don't have time to build any more audio gear. It's better to move these on to someone who can really use them. Check the specs from the '71 Triad catalog pic shown in this listing. Seems that anything more than a pair do not come up very often in NOS condition with uncut wires. This will ensure nice, tidy builds; it's always nice not to have to extend winding leads that are typical of used transformers. Apparently, Triad is now making these again, presumably to the same specs as the originals. However, it seems that if you try to buy these online from the major electronics supply houses (e.g., Mouser, DigiKey, Newark, etc.), you'll either need to put in a bigger order or the unit price is relatively high or both. If you do the math, you'll find that this listing's price is actually pretty fair. Furthermore, there should be no doubt that you'll know you're getting the original Triad specification.
