Description: Another item no one could live without many years ago as everyone came home at some point in the week with spare change ( usually men as back then women had small change or coin purses in their handbags). This one is black melamine ( also popular for making ashtrays and diner items). It measures 5 inches across. These had an extension--a lip edge where "Pocket Change" was done in raised gold lettering ( we already knew that but it bore repeating/reminding). The routine was always the same --come home, empty pockets, dump in the Pocket Change bowl/dish, change clothes. This dish was such an integral part of so many lives across America. A little piece of history housed in a common ordinary object. We do offer combined shipping and welcome all inquiries.
