Description: As glamorous as it gets, this vintage dress by Lillie Rubin is an elegant black velvet strapless with a small gathered portion at the bottom back. The matching bolero brings all the style points with padded shoulders covered in real fur and three ornate rhinestone-covered clasps (snaps beneath for secure fastening). Original Lillie Rubin tag in both articles, but no size information; likely a 0 or 1, very small. Measurements for the dress: 47.5 inches long, bust 31 inches, waist 26 inches, hips 32 inches. Measurements for the jacket: 15 inches shoulder to shoulder, 17 inches armpit to armpit, 15 inches long, 23 inch sleeve. Measurements are all taken on the outside of the garment to the best of our ability. Excellent vintage condition: fur is excellent, velvet is beautiful and well cared for, no bald spots. One seam split on the left side near the hip, approximately 1 1/2 inch. No tears, holes, etc noted. Minimal missing rhinestones on clasps.
