Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE VINTAGE LE VIAN 14K PINK GOLD BLUE TOPAZ, DIAMOND & SMOKY QUARTZ RING SZ. 7-1/2This is a very attractive vintage blue topaz, diamond, and smoky quartz ring made by Le Vian and is a very high-quality piece of jewelry. The ring is made of 14K “pink” or rose gold. It is set with one (1) large rectangular “signity” (not sure what that means) blue topaz center stone, which is surrounded by a ring or halo of fifty-two (52) round white diamonds. Each side of the band is also set with eleven (11) round smoky quartz stones, for a total of twenty-two of those. The diamonds all appear to be of good quality and all sparkle very nicely in the light. The other gems show their colors beautifully as well. The ring in my photos is the actual one you will receive. Please be sure to read the “AGE AND CONDITION” and “APPROXIMATE DIMENSIONS” paragraphs below.The ring is marked on the inside of the band with hallmarks that read “14K”, “Le Vian” and a third mark that looks to me to be the Le Vian logo. I want to be clear that I am not an expert on jewelry. I have purchased many pieces of high-quality fine jewelry like this ring over the years for my personal use and am in the process of selling off some of the pieces that I don’t often wear anymore. I did not have an appraisal done on this ring and am basing my description on the “Registered Information” sheet I received at the time of purchase. As mentioned above I am not a jeweler or gemologist but I am an honest person and will give my best honest estimate on the size of the stones. Using a loupe and a ruler graduated in millimeters, I did my best to accurately measure the stones. The large “cushion cut” topaz center stone measures about 10 mm x 8 mm. The fifty-two (52) diamonds all measure about 1 mm in diameter. There are eleven (11) smoky quartz stones on each side of the band and one of these on each side is larger than the others. The two (2) larger stones each measure about 2 mm in diameter and the twenty (20) smaller ones each measure about 1.5 mm in diameter. I purchased this ring new in 2012 at a local Jared Galleria of Diamonds and as is the case with all of my fine jewelry the ring has been well cared for in my smoke and pet free home. This is a very attractive an eye-catching ring!I do my best to describe all items as accurately as possible and to the best of my ability. There are no missing stones, no breaks, dents, dings, obvious scratches that I can see. With the aid of a jeweler’s loupe, I see only some very light signs of age-related use and is exactly what I would expect to see on a gently used piece of jewelry like this – see my photos. There may also be a tiny bit of tarnish to the metal - see the photos. It is beautiful and ready to wear. Please keep in mind these photos may be blown up at least 8-10 times normal, so anything you see will look 8-10 times larger in the photos than it really is.Please note: if you see a dark spot in the photos, it is from my camera and is not a mark on the piece.
