Description: Wonderful vintage Kutani sake set made in Japan. Hand painted porcelain with gold gilt. When the sake is poured from the decanter, the bird or duck ‘whistles’. Six cups, one has a small chip and crack; the crack does not go through to the inside of the cup. Please see photos. Each cup has a lithophane image of a geisha, which is super cool! The gold gilt is intact except for a tiny spot on the bird’s tail.
