Description: Vintage Inuit Alaska Eskimo Yupik Native Doll Male Fur Hide Leather Beaded Felt 10” Condition:This is a vintage Native American Indian or Inuit Alaskan Eskimo doll. I do not know the exact history of this lovely, hand-crafted doll but I believe it may date at least to the 1960s. I believe it was given to a missionary couple who were serving at the time. It is made of real fur, suede clothing and a leather, hand painted face. The cuffs on his sleeves and boots have teal felt that is hand beaded. He measures 10" tall. He is in good condition. There is a spot on his forehead that I think is damage. The back of his suede coat also shows quite a bit of wear, consistent with a beloved toy. Please see the photos for specifics on the condition of this native Eskimo or Inuit doll.
