Description: Up for auction is a vintage deck with metal tin of what I believe to be Hwatu cards (possibly Hanafuda) (Korean or Japanese, research suggests Korean but I'm not an expert). I am not familiar with this type of deck, but I have played a digital version of koi koi and recognize this basic set of images. The beautiful tin features a stag / deer and is a bit dented but still holds the cards well. It did its job and has protected the cards marvelously over the years, the cards are in excellent condition. There are 47 cards present, so it may be missing one, I have included photos of all cards so you can make your own judgment. (I think there are supposed to be 48?) The cards are made with a nice thick material and feel / look great. Regardless, it's a beautiful set and tin, ready to find a good home.
