Description: Up for sale is this classic hollow body decoy. I purchased a bunch of decoys from my uncle over 20 years ago. He lived in Grand Mariais, Minnesota and purchased most of his collection there. This decoy is at least 70 years old. I am selling a solid body that was produced from the same artist. It was signed but I cannot make out the name. It’s located on the left side 3 in. below the neck. On the bottom the one loop (to attach a weight) that remains is the front one. The head piece seems pretty solid still, despite the crack. The glass eyes are pretty cool. The duck measures 14 3/4 in. long, 5 1/4 in. wide (at the widest part), and 7 1/2 in tall. The decoy weighs 15 oz. This would make a great folk-art display.
