Some buyers are asking why shipping costs have increased? (1.) Ebay charges the seller a final value fee of 10% on shipping charges. The seller does not receive any value on shipping cost (the Post Office receives the value) but the seller has to pay a fee for shipping charges. Paypal fees imposed on the seller are also calculated on the entire transacation, including shipping charges. (2.) The Post Office has increased rates on a regular basis with the most recent increase in June 2019 where rates are based on size, weight and distance shipped. Any package one cubic foot or larger is subject to a 'dimensional' surcharge regardless of how far it is being shipped. The farther the item has to travel, the more it costs.
