This is a great statement piece probably from the 1930’s with the bright yellow and white textured stripes. The rims and edges are lined with a brown stripe. Consists of the base steamer, poaching rack and lid. However the red flowers shown as a decorating example are not included. Several chips in the enamel shows how much this steamer must have been used over the years. 2 areas of slight crazing on top lid. But it is fully functional and watertight. I brought this back from France and have used it lovingly for years. Very French farmhouse or regal country. The mark on bottom is BB12506. It measures 23 1/2” l ( with handles). 7 1/4” W ( with lid on) 6 3/4” w/o lid 6 1/2” H. ( with lid on) Because this is a substantial piece, I’m shipping in a large heavy box to protect the handles.
