Description: Vintage Czech Amber Glass Mini Vase Moriage Flower Hand Painted 24K Gold Signed U.M. Very small gem of a bud vase is just under 4.25" tall X 2.75" wide. The inside neck narrows down to just over an inch and the piece is 1.75" across the top outside diameter and the same across the bottom.Lovely amber color glass with a short pooling of amber look at the bottom of the vase. Handpainted in 24K gold: a fancy tomato shaped design on the front, a wide band of gold around the top edge, and a narrower band around the bottom. The gold is so reflective that it was hard to photograph. The gold signature: initials of U.M. or it could be V.M.The moriage raised painted flower reminds us of icing on a cake and appears to be a violet. Vintage of unknown year but we were told it was pre-1970.Flower stems are not included.In very good pre-owned condition. Amazingly well cared for. No chips or cracks.
