Description: Vintage Pilot’s Hat. Made by the Superior Uniform Cap Company. It is about a size 7 ½ and is black in color. It is in pretty good condition considering it has been worn on numerous flights. The visor has cracks as seen in the images. The original owner had used black duct tape at one time to stiffen up the front. One of the grommets holding the badge appears to be missing as well. These are the only flaws and do not subtract from the displayability of this fine old hat. The original owner flew for Muse Air, later renamed TranStar Airlines during the 80s. Prior to that he also flew for Braniff and at one time for Continental. I am also selling a couple other vintage pilots’ hats. Buy more than one and pay reduced shipping.
