Description: Vintage Antique 8" Carbon Steel Chef Knife, With Wood Handle, No Maker's Mark. Blade is 8", overall length is 12 5/8". Blade is sharp, but still needs a proper sharpening. Blade has scratches, marks, and stains, from normal use. Bolster has some thinning, on the metal, where it has worn 2 holes. Blade is tight, no movement. Pictures will show. Wood handle has no chips, or cracks. Handle does have some scratches, and marks, from normal use. I believe, although I can not see, it, handle is attached thru the bolster, into the tang. Which leads me to believe it is, one pin, 1/2 -3/4 tang, hardwood handle. I can not find a maker's mark anywhere. What a cool looking old knife.
