Description: Vintage 90’s Orville by Gibson Les Paul Junior single cut in Heritage Cherry. This is a player grade vintage guitar made in Japan for Gibson in the early 90’s. It features standard specs for a Les Paul Junior including single dog ear P90 and wrap around tailpiece. Purchased from Japan and kept in storage for 6 years, previous owners used it extensively. Several areas of guitar feature wear on finish caused by heavy play and usage. P90 and volume control work but P90 does have rust on pole pieces, see photos. Tone control is currently not working due to capacitor rusting and breaking off from the pot, will probably need replacement. All of the hardware and electronics appear to be original and except for the tone capacitor are in good working condition. Guitar neck is a medium C shape which is very comfortable to play. Frets do have wear especially above the 12th fret, guitar is still playable but a re-fret will probably be needed in the future. Additional photos of any of the wear on the guitar will be provided on request. This is definitely a players grade guitar that has seen lots of usage in its life. With some minor work this can be a great Junior for a player looking for something unique and with history. Orville single cuts don’t come up for sale often and when they do they run above 2k. This guitar has play wear and needs work so it is priced accordingly. Recommended for an experienced player No case included
