Description: Picture being a 16-year-old you in the early 70s. Maybe you liked to embroider, maybe you liked to tool leather belts and then paint them pink and orange or maybe you opened the hem on every pair of jeans you had and added a massive triangle of floral fabric to turn them into giant bells. Now picture that same you in Belgium. You have all that girlish craftiness but living in a country with a much richer history - lots of old buildings and dark coolness. And dark cool is what Ann Demeulemeester's clothes were when she was at her eponymous label until 2013. Despite being almost all black and white, there is still something teenage and DIY in all those collections. Figures because Ann was a total 70's teen. A crossbody bag from 2000 in white, resin-coated cotton and linen made from a pair of pants. Literally. The strap is long and hits right where you put your hands in your actual pants pocket. Belt loops, buttons and a back zippered entry, lined in white cotton voile. Bag is 15.25" high by 16.5" wide with a 22.5" drop. Excellent condition. If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to let me know. I am always happy to help.
