Description: An unusual porcelain trinket box in the shape of a set of US traffic lights, made in China and purchased new circa 1998. Box is hinged with a scalloped bronze border in the Limoges box style with a bow in the center that acts as a snap closure. It measures 1 & 5/8” long x 1 & 1/8” tall x 5/8” wide with inside capacity of about 1.25” x 3/8”. Inside of both halves are hollow. Excellent for pills or the tiniest of trinkets. I kept a pair of 7 mm tall Murano glass houseflies in here as a kid. Scuffs and wear to the enamel on the front of the traffic lights. Please review photos to get a good sense of enamel condition.
