Vintage 1984 Trek 850 Lugged Reynolds 531 Frame, Fork + Extras MTB All Terrain

Description: Rare Vintage 1984 Trek 850This bicycle frame was hand built and brazed in Waterloo Wisconsin, USA in February of 1984. This was the second year that Trek produced their "All Terrain" bicycles. These would later become known as Mountain bikes. The paint is the original Gloss Black (Imron, I assume) . The 1984 decals are the best of the vintage trek lines. Take note of the many decals on this frame:top tube (800 series script), down tube (Trek 850), chain stay (Trek 850), seat tube side top: Trek Waterloo in red, white, blue; seat tube rear top TREK in red on white box background; seat tube front bottom: Reynolds 531AT decal. In addition, the frame has silver lug linings and silver pantograph on the seat stays. Aesthetically, the worst part is the chainstay decal as it has cracked and faded. Overall the paint is nice and glossy. It has a couple of chips (under BB, as shown) and some very minor ones that have been touched up. I see and am aware of no dents or bent tubes. The frame has a very long wheelbase with plenty of clearance for fat tires and fenders. This frame will make a very cool retro mtb or an awesome off-road touring bicycle.
